BIO

Almost like a pale morning sunrise or a refreshing breath of air, Megan Winsor creates a nostalgia, relatability, and realness through grounding lyrics and melodies.

Got music because something in her soul told her to write songs. Megan Winsor is an American Singer/Songwriter from Newport Beach, CA. Megan currently attends the University of Southern California studying Music Industry. Growing up, Megan listened to popular music played on the radio as well as 80s hits her parent's love. These classic songs sparked an investigation for inspiration and lead her to singer/songwriters and alternative artists and to achieve the goal of spreading community through music. In the summer of 2016, she was signed to an Artist Development deal with DNT Entertainment. On August 18, 2017, Winsor released her first single, Caught Up. Enhanced content for this single launched Megan's Vevo channel on October 20, 2017.

To no surprise, a full-length album, CLWNS, was released on August 30th, 2019.

I've been writing songs since I was about 10 years old before I even knew how to play any instrument. I taught myself piano and guitar at the age of 13. Production was the natural next step at 15. I am very proud of this album because not only did I solely write the entire thing, but I solely produced half of the songs and played a huge role in the production process for the other half. An example of my work is my music video for one of the singles off my album, oneiusedtolove. I wrote and produced the song, came up with the idea for the music video, directed the video and edited the video. What is online under my name shows wholely who I am as an artist today. I have a lot to learn and places to go but I am very proud of the ground I've made so far.
